Last Wednesday morning I got an email from Maria. She was trying to get a wedding put together a bit last minute and wanted to know if I was available to photograph. As luck would have it, I was!
What a sweet and hospitable couple they were…after we did the pictures, they insisted that Tim(who had come along to be my assistant, wonderful husband that he is!) and I stay for dinner. What a wonderful evening :)
I met Rob and Alicia through my husband, and they have since become dear friends of mine as well. They are celebrating 5 year of marriage in a few months and thought it would be fun to get dressed up in their wedding attire and do a photo shoot to celebrate. We headed out to Kunde Winery, Sugarloaf, and ended at Howarth Park. No doubt about it, Sonoma County is beautiful and the bride and groom just added to it! Thanks for such a great evening guys! And Alicia, you rocked that dress :)
I met Ashley while I was working at Empire College as a lab assistant in the phlebotomy program (my day job, lol). We have kept in touch on facebook over the last couple of years, and she recently asked me to do some maternity and family shots before her belly got too uncomfortable. She said she feels huge; I think she looks amazing!
To say that Addison is adorable would be an understatement…she was off and running from the moment we got the park, saying hello to every dog and flower that we passed. Mom and Dad were so easygoing, made for a fun evening!
I met Lauren through her Mom, who used to teach my daughter. We had discussed doing a family shoot, and then it got even better when we realized she would find out the sex of baby #2 the day before. So, gender reveal shoot it is!
I got so excited when they drove up and I saw pink balloons!
Jaxon is a sweetheart! Could his eyes be anymore blue? He wasn’t too thrilled in the beginning, but soon warmed up once Mom and Dad bribed him with crackers :)
Such a fun evening! Congrats Anderson family!
A sweet little one and her Mama…perfect way to celebrate Mothers Day :)
I met Heydon’s Dad through my husband. He and his wife are from Sonoma County and now live in Bakersfield. They asked me if I would take Heydon’s One year old pictures. Of course! I started to talk with Alison, his Mom, about where we should go and what time would work best. We got to talking and realized that we both babysat/nannied for the same family over 11 years ago! Small world :)
We met at SSU for my first sunrise photo shoot. Alison knew the area well from when she went there, and showed us some great locations! Heydon took off running from the moment we got there, and got attached to every stick he found!
A big thanks to my awesome husband for getting up early and accompanying us :)
I was given the honor of photographing a big announcement: Ale is going to be a BIG sister! We had so much fun with all of her expressions! Full credit goes to Mom for such a cute idea! We also got some great ones of Ale, who is 2.5 years old. Love this family!
Taking advantage of the Spring weather and a beautiful pond…but man, it got cold fast. I definitely don’t remember inviting the wind to our photo shoot!
All the extended family getting together for the first time in years?
Step 1- Promise them the pictures will only take 20 minutes…
Step 2- Bring a photographer who can’t stop taking pictures!
Thanks for bringing me along, and for showing me a new location!
