As a wedding photographer, I have a bucket list of venues I would love the chance to work at, and a beautiful destination wedding at Madrona Manor was definitely high on my list! When Annette reached out to me last year during her planning and revealed her venue, I was so excited! It’s kind of sad, really…I live in this town and had yet to visit. Sometimes I think I should take a day to play tourist; Healdsburg really does have a lot to offer!
Annette was one of THE best brides I have ever worked with! From our initial conversation, up to meeting her in person on her wedding day (she planned this from Texas), she was just a joy! As you can see in the images below, she had the most joyous smile and laugh! She also hired Mack Floral Design who did an AMAZING job executing the look and feel of a bright and beautiful boho wedding. I could have taken a million more photos just of the blooms! The look Annette got on her face when she first put her floral crown on was priceless. It really is an amazing thing to witness someone truly feel beautiful!
Madrona Manor is such a perfect venue! Everything is all together (room to get ready, plenty of space for a first look, a great space for ceremony, cocktail hour and reception). I really do think that having an all inclusive venue helps keep things less hectic! What’s also wonderful is that you get the look of a garden wedding, with the addition of the property being surrounded by vineyards…this is the Wine Country, after all! 😉
Lastly, what a great group of vendors I had the chance to work with!
