So, sometimes I have helped for weeks (even months) with planning a proposal...and sometimes I only have 3 hours notice and I just go with it!

Really quick, ready for a little Healdsburg history?
For YEARS, the town Post Office was where SingleThread is now. There was a fire back in August of 2010 (I just had to look it up, and was shocked it was that long ago already!) If you are curious about that,
here is the article I found when I Googled it :) I will admit that I was sad to hear they were not going to rebuild it.
But then the new building started coming together
and I was in awe of the beauty, heard incredible things about their dining experience, and was super curious to see this special rooftop lounge/garden area they have! Also, I learned that they also have an Inn!
OK! Enough ohhing and ahhing, back to the proposal!
Ricardo realized as he was headed to Healdsburg from Santa Cruz, that his girlfriend had mentioned really wanting a photographer when he proposed. He jumped on Yelp!, searched for Healdsburg Photographers, and found me! I was so excited that I happened to have a spare hour in between other appointments and ran into town (SingleThread in like 5 minutes away from my house).
You guys, it was incredible to have the chance to see this amazing rooftop view!
Due to it being the very end of winter, the gardens were not as lush yet, but it was still so beautiful! I was hiding behind a wall waiting for Ricardo to arrive and just enjoyed some quiet time in the shade.The proposal was so sweet. These two have been together since high school, and it was so fun to be a part of the moment when he shocked her by getting down on one knee! I am so dang blessed to call this my career!
