Wedding at Ru's Farm | Healdsburg, California

To say I was elated to photograph this wedding at Ru's Farm is an understatement! See, I live under a mile down the road from this venue -which means if you have driven there for a venue walk through, you drive by my house! Wave as you drive by ;). Also- Ru's is GORGEOUS!! My husband and I actually considered getting married there 7 years ago when it was Healdsburg Country Gardens, but they were already booked.

And then there was the fun bridal party and sweet family! The bridesmaids were so helpful- I was doing some detail shots of the invites and the kitchen table was this perfect wood tone that fit in with the wedding so well- but I am short and needed to stand on something to get the right angle! As I am mulling over bringing a chair over, the girls went outside and dragged in the steps from the hot tub outside to me! I'm telling you, sometimes it really does take a village :)

The first look was so sweet!

I have worked with a lot of guys, and most will say they don't like to smile or don't smile well. Man, I am SO glad I captured Brandon's face light up when he saw Marisa for the first time!

Something unexpected for me was how IN LOVE I was with the white florals!

I am the first to admit that I love color-but Marisa was very specific that she wanted white and simple details. I was so excited and impressed with how beautiful everything looked!
